Wally's back! A somewhat different spot in a West Salem park.
After the plundering of Wally's Cache, this one is really the Son of Wally. It's in a well-used park in the Salem area. PLEASE use discretion when finding -- it's a busy place, and plunderings have happened there before.
Don't be scared off by the terrain number -- it's really a 1 on terrain until the last 15 feet or so. Kids are fine if there's a brave adult with them!
1-18-03 NOTE: We finally got a chance to return to 'Wally's Return' and do some maintenance. The cache is still there -- even though the surroundings above it have changed quite a bit! We dried out the container, put a new log book in, added some new goodies and put everything in plastic bags to help keep the water out.
The cache has moved about 6 feet north of it's original location and is hidden in some of the new materials. A quick reminder: this cache is meant to be approached ... from below.
