Marabou Pan Stretch Point Traditional Cache

This cache is placed at one of the designated Stretch Points in the Savuti area of the Chobe National Park where you are allowed out of your vehicle.  The terrain at the cache sight is flat and easy, but the rating given to this cache is because you have to get here!  National Park fees are payable. Please bring your own pen.

The Stretch Point where this cache is hidden is close to what is known as Marabou Pan, and it has become a regular morning stop for the lodge game-drivers.  If travelling with a tour operator we suggest you seek out the cache as soon as you can after pulling up at the designated Stretch Point, so that you can find it, sign the log and rehide it while your guide is distracted making your tea or coffee.  Please cover well after returnign the cache to its hiding place.
