Tom Bass Regional Park
Thomas Hutcheson Bass, born January 11, 1927 has served this community as a high school teacher, college professor, US Army Reserve Officer, State Representative, Harris County Commissioner from 1973-1985, Author of text books, and as a volunteer for numerous boards of area non-profit organizations. Because of his extensive environmental efforts, the Tom Bass Regional Park on Clear Creek was named in his honor.
This park affords you the opportunity to bring the family out and enjoy a day playing outside. It has 5 different playgrounds for the children to get some exercise, several charcoal grills with picnic tables for cooking out with the family, and several pavilions available for rent for larger groups. It has 2 large fenced dog parks so your family geo dog can play too. There is also a small public pond where you can teach the kids to fish. A par 3 golf course that is open to the public and a Frisbee golf course. It also has an amphitheater.
