Hobby Series - FINAL Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Hydroid: With the passing of my four legged geocaching buddy, and the ever worsening tick issues, I’ve decided to archive my remaining caches….
Was fun while it lasted.
Time to open up the area for someone else.

Geocache Description:

There is nothing at the posted coordinates. The cache is within 1.5 km...

This is the FINAL part of a seven part series (6 caches plus a FINAL). Each part will build on the preceding part, so while not impossible to do out of sequence if you have the knowledge, it is suggested that you do the caches in order:

1 - GC6DDCH - Resistors - NOW ARCHIVED - BONUS info: IR3=14.14mA
2 - GC6DKK8 - Series & Parallel
3 - GC6DR23 - Ohm's Law
4 - GC6DR2X - Magic Smoke... - NOW ARCHIVED - BONUS info: IR10=10.86mA
5 - GC6DR3G - Breadboards
6 - GC6EG5M - PCB's - NOW ARCHIVED - BONUS info: PR10=3.89mW
7 - GC6DDDW - FINAL (This listing)

Each of the first six parts of this series had bonus information at the top of their respective logs. Those six pieces of information will be required to solve this FINAL cache of the series.

The Cache:

This, being the final part of the series, is also the most difficult. It will require skills picked up in five of the six preceding parts. Because of this, I have given this cache a difficulty rating of 5. But, figuring it's been difficult enough, I've made it an easy find, only a terrain 1.5... I also placed two unactivated geocoins in the final as rewards for the first and second finders. I hope you enjoyed the series

To find the FINAL for this series, have a look at this Printed Circuit Board, PCB:

Silkscreen

Top of PCB

Bottom of PCB

Along with the views of the Silkscreen, PCB Top, and PCB Bottom, you also have this information:

R2 = Yellow, Violet, Black, Gold

And, you also have the 6 pieces of information you collected from the logsheets of parts 1 through 6.

That is enough information to determine the following:

- Calculate VR2, VR3, VR5, VR7 and VR10.

- Once all your calculations are completed, round VR3 to the nearest tenth of a volt. Round the other four voltages to the nearest hundredth of a volt.

- Omit the units (i.e., V for Volts) for use below - just use the number obtained.

The cache is located at:

N44 X  and   W079 Y
where:
X = VR2 + VR7 - VR10 - 0.098
Y = VR3 + VR5 - 0.092

Hints:
- Start by creating a schematic from the PCB information.
- Use your calculator to keep track of all decimal points while performing calculations - Don't round off; When rounding is required, you will be instructed to do so.
- Work through the math to determine values slowly and carefully.

Congratulations to MythicLionMan on his sixth FTF of the series

Notes:
- Please bring your own pen / pencil for the log.
- Unless winter is unusually harsh, the cache should be available year round.
- Depending on the season, the cache location may be muddy, icy or snow covered. Use caution.
