Youman’s Pond is a large swampy 31.3-acre area with some adjacent forest and marsh that was approved as a wetland restoration project in 2003. The project has benefited a variety of waterfowl species, many shore and marsh birds, wet forest and riparian species, and many other wildlife species.

Among many of the birds that can be observed here, include egrets, wood storks, wood ducks, various herons and more.

The Cache

Please park in the designated parking area and proceed to the posted coordinates via the boardwalk.

To locate the cache you will have to project a waypoint from the posted coordinates. Project a waypoint at 85 degrees and 345 feet.

* Please be respectful of this property. This cache is located outside of the establishment. Please pull off of the main road into the parking lot to retrieve this cache. Once you have located the cache, PLEASE return the stamp and inkpad back in the cache. As with any other cache please hide back as found. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE CACHE FROM LOCATION
