The Blackwood Park School site is part of the Geegelup heritage trail which amongst other sites encompasses 25 little school sites of years past.
These schools catered for children of farming families in the immediate area and historically were in service for relatively short periods.
Blackwood Park school had an average attendance of 8 students and closed in 1944 after 14 years of operation.
The cache is a small pvc container with log sheet and pencil,it has room for small swaps only.
Cache should be an easy find near the plaque for the school site.
