Geocache Description:

The new ICC is an eyesore to some, a blesing to others. It connects I270 in the West with I95 in the East. It has the unfortunate reputation of being the most police-patrolled 15 miles in the entire state. The intention was to releve traffic congestion on the Capitol Beltway, but the designers decided to make it a toll road; the effect has been that many commuters would rather sit in traffic than pay a high daily toll.

There is very little parking near the cache site. A church parking lot is nearby, but it is private property. Between the church and the ICC is a street, Overhill Rd, that has a pull off on it probably good for parking. The hike in to the cache is pleasant, I spied a large amount of deer. However, there are many, many bramble-ish bushes and "whips" all through these woods. Wear long pants at a minimum! The container is a large, white, pvc pipe under some ground cover. Please note: YOU CANNOT ACCESS THIS CACHE FROM THE ICC ITSELF, you need to access it from Redland Rd.
