EN: Derecske means hill or heap. The city is famous about the needlework and verbunk. The only crypt of Hagen’s chemney sweeper family stands in the chatolic cemetary of Hajnal street. It had been built in 1929 in neobarokk style.

Derecske neve dombot, halmot jelent. A város a szűrrátétes hímzéséről és a verbunkjáról híres. A Hajnal utcai katolikus (Kolompír) temetőben maradt meg az egyetlen ép kripta, amely a Hagen kéményseprő családé. Neobarokk stílusban 1929-ben épült.
