Highway 17,also known as the Chief Mountain International Highway, connects Glacier National Park (US) and Waterton Lakes National Park (Canada) at the Chief Mountain Border Crossing. Each twist in the road brings another incredible view to enjoy. Stop to stretch your legs and reflect on the beauty of the area. Looking north the prominent land feature you will see is Pike Hill elevation 5650 ft.
An easy find for the experienced seeker. plenty of parking in the area. If you plan to cross the border you will need a passport. FTF will meet Mrs. Toussaint Charbonneau! Congratulations Flatlander 1974 FTF!
