This Cach is located on the site of a School hostel that was built in 1980-81. It was a crude design of concrete structure with a flat roof and suffered from many problems. It was never used by the school and was due to be demolished in 1982. But there was an invasion by Argentina and a short brutal war lastin 74 days followed. The Argentines used the building as a field hospital untill there surrender on 14 June 82. demolished in 1991.
To get to this cache you will enjoy a senic walk up the foot path ither past the Comunity School or via Ross Road and turn South at the 1914-18 memorial.
On the site of the cashe you will be thinking there is nothing here but look low and look square but open round. This site is not in use anymore and is deserted. The land is Government owned and publicly accessible. I have listed the cache as needing a special tool but a finger or any key , penknife will do. Easy. The building no longer exists and nature has reclaimed it.
