Grandma's Dead End Traditional Cache
swampland'r: This is Ragtime Fan here. The original cache was a real log with an inner PVC container inside of it. The log must have completely disintigrated and rotted away as I couldn't find any trace of it. I did however find the inner container in bad shape on the ground umongst the leaves a couple of feet away. Well, this one is finished. I sent a message to JSpeedy telling him to log a find on this and the other one if he wants. Thanks for the finds.

Near by there was a cache called "Grandpa's Other Dead End. Grandpa is all "petered out" and it's time for Grandma to take over. The cache contains a log and a pencil. The cache is in plain sight. Everything at GZ is there for a reason. DO NOT move anything except the cache. PLEASE place the cache back exactly as found. Thank You.
I rated the cache a 3 difficulty because it's mostly all natural (homemade from material gotten from my own back yard) and may blend in well with the the area. It doesn't blend in perfectly so when you see it you WILL know that's the cache. I strongly suggest, start by walking down the grass area from parking on the street to the trailhead. The trailhead begins at a small sick looking Evergreen tree leaning sideways. Now follow the clear ZIG ZAG path to GZ. IF YOU ARE NOT WALKING MOSTLY UPRIGHT YOU ARE GOING THE WRONG WAY. DO NOT BUSHWHACK AND CLIMB THROUGH THE BUSHES, THE BRUSH AND THE TREES. When retrieving the cache there is no need to move anything except the cache. If you do please leave things as found. Please don't put anything in the cache without taking something out except travel items. Please use basic geocaching 101 courtesy when replacing the log and other contents. Don't put the pencil in the zip lock bag. Don't add swag. Don't add ANYTHING without taking something except a travel item. Don't crush the contents. When handling the cache, turn the cache completely upside down (large end up) and pull. After signing the log reverse the procedure. Please put EVERYTHING back exactly as found. THE PART OF THE CACHE THAT CONTAINS THE LOG IS MAGNETIC. PUSH IT ALL THE WAY IN IT'S HIDEY-HOLE SO THE MAGNETICS MAKE CONTACT.
