Geocache Description:

Another in the very popular series of Church Micros started by Sadexploration.

St. Catherine’s Church, Hatcham.
This area was known as Hatcham until fairly recently and the name still lives on in the parish, liberal club and local schools. The Worshipful Company of Haberdashers developed Telegraph Hill in the late 19th Century. This church was built in 1894 (St. Catherine is the patron saint of the Haberdashers.) The church is rumoured to have been attacked by suffragettes when it was damaged by fire in 1914 but there is no evidence of this. The church suffered bomb damage on the first night of the blitz in 1940.

St. Catherine’s are involved in the Telegraph Hill festival which takes place every March.

Parking is available in nearby streets but watch out for one way and no entry signs.

The cache is not at the given co-ordinates, it is a 2 minute walk away. Look for the large sign in the corner of the church grounds. The words in the 7th line from the top are ABCDEFG. The cache can be found at:

N51° CE.(F-A)(F+G)(C+D) W000° 0(G/F).(B+C) C (F+G)

You are looking for a magnetic nano.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
