The new Alum Hollow Land Trust trail is a beautiful 3.5 mile round trip that leads you to a virtually unknown part of Green Mountain. The trail is well marked with orange tape. It has some elevation change, but is a moderate hike overall. It will take about 2 - 3 hours.
One would never realize that Green Mountain had a hollow this beautiful if you stuck to the road. Thank goodness this property was donated to the Land Trust for the public to enjoy. Sit and enjoy the view.
