This is another cache in the Faded Markers Series. This series will mainly focus on older, near forgotten burial plots of pioneers in the Niagara Region and beyond. The goal of this series is not necessarily the length of the walk nor the difficulty of the find, but rather a simple reverence for those who came before us to shape our area.
Due to the proximity to the nearby residence, please NO NIGHT CACHING.
Upon my travels I stumbled across this old cemetery. After viewing many of the markers, I noticed that the Simmerman name changed sometime in the late 1800`s to the current Zimmerman. This is also known as the Eden Cemetery although I was unable to locate any markers with that surname.
