This geocache shows you the two historical churches of Inota (part of the city of Várpalota).
"Szent István király" catholic church:
The church was built in the XIV century in Gothic style. During the Turkish occupation the church was injured badly. Reconstructed in the XVIII century in Baroque style.
"Calvinist" church:
If you at the church at noon, you can hear the two bells from the tower. The big one made in 1929, the small one 1827.
Not a far distance from the Calvinist church you can find the WWI and WWII memorial of Inota.
And on the other side of the road you can drink cold spring water from a well.
Ez a geoláda Inota falu (Várpalota város kerülete) két templomát mutatja be.
"Szent István király" katolikus templom:
A templom a XIV. században épült gótikus stílusban, ez a környék legrégebbi ilyen stílusú épülete (vagyis egyes szakaszai), ugyanis a török időkben a templom nagyon megrongálódott. A XVIII. században újították fel barokk stílusban, majd 1970-ben nyerte el mai, végleges formáját, akkor építették be a még romos gótikus részeket is.
"Református" templom:
Érdekessége, hogy két harangját "ajkai" rendszerű, nem mágnesen szerkezet mozgatja. A nagyobb harangot 1929-ben, a kisebbet 1827-ben öntötték.
Az utcán továbbhaladva néhány méter után elérhetjük Inota első- és második világháborús hősi emlékművét.
Ha átmegyünk az út túloldalára, akkor pedig a földből feltörő friss, hideg forrásvizet ihatunk a kialakított kútból.
