Cache In Trash Out ® (CITO) é uma iniciativa ambiental apoiada pela comunidade mundial que pratica geocaching.
Desde 2002 que geocachers em todo o mundo se têm dedicado a melhorar parques e outros locais onde se pratica geocaching.
Através destas acções de voluntariado, estamos a ajudar a preservar a beleza natural dos nossos recursos ao ar livre.
Nos últimos 13 anos, geocachers em todo o mundo têm celebrado o Fim-de-Semana Internacional do CITO, organizando e participando em Eventos CITO na sua área de residência.
Este ano a 14ª celebração Anual do CITO será efectuada em duas semanas inteiras, agendadas para 16 a 24 de Abril e 17 a 25 de Setembro de 2016.
Os Eventos da Semana Anual do CITO poderão ter como objectivo principal a limpeza de um determinado local, remoção de espécies invasoras, acções de reflorestamento ou manutenção de percursos pedestres.
Todos juntos, produziremos um enorme impacto positivo na Natureza!

Cache In Trash Out ® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community.
Since 2002, geocachers around the world have been dedicated to improving parks and other cache-friendly places.
Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources.
For the past 13 years, geocachers around the world have celebrated International CITO Weekend annually by hosting and participating in CITO Events in their local area.
This year, the Annual CITO celebration will happen in two entire weeks.
The 14th Annual CITO Week are scheduled for 16/24-April and 17/25-September-2016.
CITO Week Events might be focused on litter clean-up, removal of invasive species, revegetation efforts or building trails.
All together, we make an enormous positive impact in the Nature!
Did we mention that we also have a bit of fun while we're at it?
