We were living in the country side of West Virginia, and had to travel over 20 miles to get to a store. Heading into WalMart one weekend a sign “Free Puppies” caught our eye. There was a big box full of the cutest fat little pups you had ever seen. We reached into the very bottom and pulled out “Patches” full of wrinkles and stunk worse than any dog we had ever seen! Carrying her back to the car, I put her down only for a second to take care of business before our journey home, when “Patches” low crawls under the car! It took a broom and several mins of persuasion to get her out. “Patches” has been with us ever since and a valued family member. … This Cache is dedicated to “Patches” more than a Dog our other big baby!
