Geocache Description:

Saturday 23rd April 2016 is St George's Day so please come along and celebrate all things English with StevieP and myself at The Red Lion (formerly The Button Mill) at Worsborough.

The event will run from 12:30 on Saturday 23rd April until 5:00pm at the above establishment for all and sundry to come and talk the Geojabber and greet StevieP on his welcome return to Geocaching after 30 months of ill health and uncertainty.

As many of you are aware, Steviep, a long time veteran of this game and stalwart event attendee over the years, suffered a deep vein thrombosis following a holiday flight to Lanzorote in 2013. After many unsuccessful medical procedures during 2014/15 to recover circulation to his leg this culminated in Steve unfortunately losing his left leg in November 2015 and alarmingly this was followed with a number of complications which threatened his life!

Today Steve is well on the way to recovery and is now about to get back on his feet once again and going for an initial prosthetic fitting on April 18th. So please come and join me to wish him farewell to his wheelchair and good luck on his way to full recovery and back on the trail soon after over 2 years of disability, pain and uncertainty.

As usual we hope to see him be the last to leave the event and "legless" once again as usual!
