• Born: 8/21/1987 in Miami, FL
• Draft: 2009, Houston Astros, 20th rd. (611th overall)
• Debut: July 30, 2011

Resides in Ft. Lauderdale, FL during the off season...Participates in the Tigers Dreams Come True program and attended Keeping Kids in the game and the Detroit Tigers Winter Caravan...Graduated from Flanagan High school in Pembroke Pines, FL where his team won consecutive state titles in 2005- 06...Achieved second-Team All-Broward County Honors his sophomore, junior and senior seasons...Attended Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL... batted .428 with 15 home runs and 57 RBI while setting the school's all-time record with 73 runs scored in a single season, and being named a First-Team All-American during his junior year in 2009.
