Wether you approach this cache from the park or the beach you will be rewarded with some georeous views. The beach is accessible from the park via the trail head or, at the right time, from Duders beach. Depending on the hight of the tide you should have dry feet about an hour either side of the top of the tide if you go from the park. If you go from the beach you could be wading at that time but at about half tide you should be ok, maybe a little paddling :-) .
You are looking for a camo'd 500 ml screw top square plastic container with lots of swag fior the kids. Some tree climbing is required but not too dramatic. There are some beautiful old gnarley pohutakawa's along the coast line here. They make for great hiding places for caches :-) and this one will be no exception. Dogs are not allowed in the park.
