Trek through the paths of Beinn Lora to a new viewpoint overlooking the airport

Updated Dec 2017! Follow the Beinn Lora trail from the carpark, taking the right hand path. Spend a few moments building a den in the forest clearing - plenty of materials waiting for you. Head up the embankment from the clearing to the right, up a new path , to a stunning viewpoint overlooking Connel airfield, the Achnacree Moss and beyond. A pile of stones will assist you in locating this cache; a small tupperware container.Cache placed with the kind permission of the Forestry Commission Scotland
Visitors of the cache prior to December 2017 should note that it is worth a re-visit; substantial felling and ground works have taken place over Summer 2017 - a new path and picnic bench have been installed at this once hidden viewpoint, and fencing now guards the precipitous drop!
