Geocache Description:

Not Part of the Lockdown Loop series

Placed on the outskirts of the shoulder of mutton wood in the north downs way this geocache has been placed on the footpath of a beautiful walk steeped in history

Shoulder of Mutton Wood sits on the ridge of the North Downs, offering panoramic views over the river Medway and round to the central Weald of Kent. As well as semi-natural ancient woodland, the site features a burial mound, dating back to the Bronze Age.

I have changed the pot now so you are now looking for a wooden container suitable for small items and swops. There is room for a notebook but please bring a pen to sign it it should be an easy find and please put back as found

The walk is circular with many start points and plenty of places to park it can be about 9 miles all round but you can do as much or as little as you want to and you can also stop of for refreshments at the local public house on route
