Be aware that hunting is allowed in the wildlife management area take proper precautions during hunting season.

Micro container located off the trail in the Facing Rock Wildlife Management Area located in Ludlow. This caches can be accessed from several locations, Bridle Road, Carver Street, Green Avenue or Ludlow Street. Be sure to give yourself enough time if you are going to attempt to try and find all the caches in the area in one day. The trails can be rough at time and many trails cross over each other. Rating the entire series as a 3 for terrain because there are many ups and downs throughout the journey. Plan ahead and watch your time. Animals are not allowed in the area closest to the water. If you park at the parking area on Route 21 be aware that the gate closes at 3:30.

Follow the white perimeter signs along until you reach the sleeping giant. It is huge tree that looked like a monster snake as I approached it.  I put a small silver tube in the area. Do not wake it.
