Maddox Creek Neighborhood Trail
The Maddox Creek Neighborhood was added to Mount Vernon in the late 90's. As part of any new neighborhood in the city, is the addition of green spaces and trails. This particular trail is part of a larger expansion project that is not yet completed. This nice little asphalt path leads from Maddox Creek Rd to the top of the hill. It then goes by sidewalk to the south where another trail following a ravine leads back to Maddox Creek Rd. Across the street from this trail entrance is a path leading towards a large pond. The path circles the pond and then ends up back on Maddox Creek Rd. Essentially one big loop.
