Come and Tell the Prophet Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

KipperZeeBipper: I hate to do it, but I'm going to have to archive this one. This spot draws too many people to it, and the cache has repeatedly gone missing.

Geocache Description:

This cache will bring you to Hermit's Cave in the Wissahickon Valley Park. According to history and legend, this was the place where the leader of a religious sect took refuge in the late 17th century. Johannes Kelpius was a mystic, musician, botanist, and occultist. He and his followers believed that the end of the world would take place in 1694. This belief was based on an interpretation of a passage from the Book of Revelation. Kelpius and his followers, known as Hermits or Mystics of the Wissahickon, continued to live in the Wissahickon Valley area of Philadelphia until Kelpius's death in 1708.

You are looking for a cammo'd Altoids container. BYOP. This is my first hide, so please let me know if there are any issues with the coordinates, the hide, or the container. There is a small FTF prize for the lucky person who will claim the title.

You can access the cache several different ways. Parking is available on Vicaris St., Hermit Ln., or at Ten Box off of Lincoln Dr. Congratulations to buzzmonkey for being FTF!
