Geocache Description:

Originally called ‘Newbourne Stroll’ but following the placement of Newbourne Stroll 1-13 by another cacher I have received a few messages asking how long ‘my series’ takes (and I don’t actually know as it’s not my series and I’ve yet to complete it). This one does make for a good starting point for the series! Thought if I renamed this one it might save confusion. :)

A short walk from the car park on a reasonably firm path. The cache is a screw top pot about the size of a pint glass.

From the village hall, and the Rainy Day Cache, walk past the pay area to pick up the trail. There are boardwalks across the first section where it gets a bit boggy and then the walk continues across a meadow and along the fields. This cache is just off the path in the corner of the meadow as you reach the edge of the fields. Careful approaching the cache with small children as there may be some stingers or prickles. It's an easy walk, even for young ones, but can be muddy. It's not really appropriate for wheelchairs or pushchairs though I'm afraid.

Cache was stuffed with swaps for the children when first set up.

Please replace the bark so the cache is covered.

Congratulations to The_G's for FTF.
