This cache is a Letterbox Hybrid. - So what is it?
Letterboxing originated in Dartmoor, England around 1854. Traditionally it gives a series of clues to lead you to the letterbox. Letterboxes have a unique stamp to mark your journal and in return you stamp the log with yours.
Letterbox Hybrid Geocaches are an ode to the original Letterboxing pastime.
Here is how to find this cache:
#1 At the posted coordinates you find yourself near an intersection with three letterboxes.
#2 Follow the track between the red and the green letterbox until your GPS says you are 117 meters away from the posted coordinates.
#3 Then you will find a tree to your left with the hidden treasure.
#4 Use your stamp to record your find in the logbook (or draw a little picture of what your stamp would be) and in return you can use our stamp in your journal.
Please remember that the stamp must remain in the cache, it is not swag and your fellow geocachers will get very sad if you take it home with you.
