The short-lived "Sabraman", was the first Israeli comic-book superhero. His character appeared in both English and Hebrew versions of the comic book. However, inevitably there were subtle differences in each version. The description below has some differences too. Start at the posted coordinates, and follow these differences to the cache location. Sabraman was created by Uri Fink when the artist was only 15, back in 1978. The character was not a massive success, but did manage to get published for a while in the Israeli English-language newspaper, "The Jerusalem Post", as well as his own, short-lived, comic.
Sabraman was given his super powers by the super-agency of Israel. In 1975 that agency implanted atomic rod in the chests of 28 super agents, giving each one powers far beyond normal men. The 18th agent to undergo the procedure was Dan Bar-On, a former policeman who was a holocaust survivor and had fought in the 1956 war, the Six Day War and the Yom Kipur War of 1973. When they implanted the rod in him, the vast powers of the rod were unleashed and there was an explosion which destroyed the entire laboratory. Fifteen people were killed in that explosion, but Bar-On himself survived with the rod still inside him. It was later found that he had developed powers greater than any of his counterparts. Dubbed "Sabraman", he fought villains such as the Nazi scientist Dr. Mengele, and became a hero of Israel.

סַבְּרָמן (מלשון "צבר" באנגלית, Sabra) הוא שמו של סיפור קומיקס ישראלי שפורסם בשנת 1978 על ידי אורי פינק, שנושאו היה הרפתקאות גיבור-על ישראלי בשם "סברמן". הדמות נוצרה על ידי אורי פינק כאשר היה רק 15 בלבד, בשנת 1978. הדמות לא היתה הצלחה גדולה, אך יצאה לאור לזמן קצר בעיתון הישראלי בשפה האנגלית, "ג'רוזלם פוסט", וכן בספרי קומיקס.
סברמן נוצרה על ידי אורי פינק ופורסמה על ידי המו"ל הישראלי דיוויד הרמן. גיבורה הוא ישראלי בשם "דן בר-און", שנפצע בקרבות החווה הסינית במלחמת יום הכיפורים, ובגופו הושתל מוט אטומי. הגיבור נלחם בשרות צה"ל והמדינה תחת השם "סברמן". החוברת הראשונה של הקומיקס זכתה להצלחה וצויירה מחדש על ידי פינק לגרסה בשפה האנגלית. חוברת נוספת הופיע תחת השם "סברמן נגד שליחי השאול". חוברת שלישית אותה חיבר פינק על הרפתקאותיו של סברמן לא פורסמה מעולם. גיבור הקומיקס הופיע שוב בשנת 1998 בפרסום אחר של פינק בשם "פרופיל 107", שם מאבד דן בר-און את כינויו סברמן וחי במציאות שבה גיבורי-על מוצאים מחוץ לחוק אך הממשלות משתמשות בהם בסתר.
