Geocache Description:

I bring to yall another easy to do multi cache located within ( Rodgers Farm Park ).


Here is the location of the final

( N 32° 38.___ W 097° 11.___ )

 

At stage one... you will see 2 plaque's within a rock... only focus on the upper plaque... it will say this:

 

Rodgers Farm Park
 

Thomas F. Rodgers was an early settler in kennedale having arrived in 1885. Mr. Rodgers purchased 1,200 acres of land and raised ____ and ____, grew cotton and maintained orchards.Thomas operated the city hotel and hosted the "Methodist Prayer Meetings" under the trees on his farm. Families came from miles around to hear the message given by the circuit preacher.

This Park, the Rolling Acres Subdivision and Kennedale high School were built on a portion of the Rodgers Farm. The last remaining portion of the farm is inhabited by his great-grandson.
