in our disclaimer.
Make yourself as small as possible, almost invisible, keep very quiet while you search and if you are very lucky, you will be rewarded. You may see something move in the shadows. At first you may think it was a wild animal, a mouse perhaps? Keep very still; you may be lucky enough to see Borage or another one of his kind.
Borage and his Cheshire brothers are very shy and have been hiding away from the mortal beings of this world for hundreds of years. They have been watching with interest the actions of their brothers on the Wirral over the past few years and seen that it is safe to reveal yourself to some mortal beings through a game called geocaching. Borage has seen that his brothers have been well received and not at all scared by his encounters with the mortal beings and so, as spring approaches he has felt it time that he himself should appear.
Borage is the brother of Rosehip and so looks very similar to him. He sits where he is most at home, in a tree in this quiet little corner of Cheshire. He is very shy so he has hidden himself up a steep bank to deter unwelcome visitors. I'm sure he would be glad to see you though.
Let me know if you meet Borage, but keep his whereabouts secret, sign your name on the parchment he carries and hopefully during the future you may be introduced to others of his kind.
Note: If anyone asks what you are looking for, tell him or her you are searching for Borage or Borago officinalis, a bristly yet edible plant, common in our land, clutivated for its oil. Borage is said to comfort the heart and to purge melancholy. According to folklore, borage potions were drunk by prospective husbands to give them courage before proposing marriage.
Never admit to looking for Little People, Goblins, Gnomes or Fairies. Bye for now
