O Parque Ibirapuera é o mais importante parque urbano da cidade de São Paulo, Brasil. Foi inaugurado em 21 de agosto de 1954 para a comemoração do quarto centenário da cidade. No município, é superado em tamanho apenas pelo Parque do Carmo e pelo Parque Anhanguera. Foi eleito em 2015, o "melhor parque urbano do planeta" pelo renomado jornal britânico The Guardian, ficando a frente de parques de renomes como Buttes-Chaumont, de Paris, Boboli de Florença, a High Line de Nova Iorque, o Hampstead Heath de Londres e até o Parque Güell, de Barcelona.
O parque é administrado pela Secretaria do Verde e Meio Ambiente da Prefeitura de São Paulo, contudo, dentro do parque há inúmeros museus, auditórios, bienal e outros espaços administrados por fundações ou outras secretarias municipais ou estaduais.
O parque conta com ciclovia e treze quadras iluminadas, além de pistas destinadas a corridas, passeios e descanso, todas integradas à área cultural. Sua área é de 1,584 km², e os seus três lagos artificiais e interligados ocupam 15,7 mil m².
É um Parque que oferece muitos atrativos, entre eles, o Geocaching, sendo o Parque com maior número de caches na cidade.
Esse cache em especial o levará a conhecer uma das maiores árvores do parque (talvez a maior). A árvore é tão grande que um de seus galhos se extende por mais de vinte metros de seu tronco, sendo necessário até um apoio metálico para suportar seu peso.

The Ibirapuera Park is the most important urban park in São Paulo, Brazil. It was inaugurated on August 21, 1954 to commemorate the fourth centenary of the city. In the city, it is surpassed in area only by the Carmo Park and the Anhanguera Park. It was elected in 2015, the "best city park in the world " by the renowned British newspaper The Guardian, getting ahead of renown parks like Buttes-Chaumont, Paris, Boboli Florence, the High Line in New York, the Hampstead Heath London and to the Park Güell, Barcelona.
The park is administered by the Secretariat of the Green and Environment of the City of São Paulo, however, inside the park there are numerous museums, auditoriums, biennial and other venues run by foundations or other municipal or state departments.
The park has biking and thirteen lighted courts, and trails aimed at races, walks and rest, all integrated into the cultural area. Its area is 1,584 square kilometers, and its three artificial lakes interconnected and occupy 15,700 m².
It is a park that offers many attractions, among them, Geocaching, been the Park with the largest number of caches in the city.
This cache in particular will take you to visit one of the largest trees in the park (perhaps the biggest). The tree is so large that one of its branches extends for more than twenty meters from its trunk, being necessary a metal column to support its weight.

With free entry since 1954, the park is open daily from 5 am until midnight.
