This is a wee container, hidden near to Hermitage Hall. I have spent many happy hours in this hall, whether at dances, or children's parties or whatever. The hall sits by the old Hermitage School House, at the junction of the road that runs along Hermitage Water past Hermitage Castle and then over Carewoodrig to the A7, and the B6399 that heads over Whitrope to Hawick. Hermitage Castle is always worth a visit, and the road over to the A7 was reckoned to be one of the best drives in Scotland by Jim Dunn of the Scotsman!! Mind, watch out for potholes, especially on the other side of the D and G border; and if you do head over that way, perhaps a wee stop to find GC1B437?
Parking is available next to the hall, and across the road from it.
