Geocache Description:

The Information Is The Key. This is not a high muggle location but with summertime tourist traffic that may increase. With 2-3 searchers a souvenir photo should be enough cover to thwart any potential muggle activity. A keen eye should pick it out quite easily. No need to cross the barbed wire fence. Parking nearby but keep an eye on pets and kids, especially in the busy summer months. Good Luck to all! FTF will receive a gold star!

W/SW of this location is Sherburne Peak (el 8610) located in the Lewis Range of Glacier National Park,The Lewis Range is named for the Lewis Overthrust, a geologic thrust fault structure of the Rocky Mountains. Continue on Highway 17 approx 1.8 miles and stop at either turn out for another spectacular view! Looking W/SW you will see (R to L) Chief Mountain (el.9088) Ninaki (el.8284), Papoose(el.7844), Gable Mountain (el. 9262), and Yellow Mountain(el.8967). The highest peak in the Lewis Range is Mt. Cleveland at 10,466 ft. Congratulations fun4thebrauns on FTF!
