Geocache Description:

I have placed a series of 26 caches, one for each letter of the alphabet, to pay tribute to some of the Greatest Rock Bands that have entertained us for years. I walked approx. 7 kms one way to place them. They are along old woods roads so the walking should be easy going most of the year. The trail is groomed in the winter for snowmobilers. Good hiking boots would be recommended. . Please make sure that all cache containers get closed properly to prevent damage to the contents.

I have had the chance to see Motley Crue in concert 3 times. The first time was in Portland Maine on their Girls, Girls, Girls tour with Whitesnake as the opening band. The second time was in Bangor with Hinder their opening act. Finally, I was able to see their final tour, again in Bangor, with Alice Cooper. All shows were an unforgettable experience. Mötley Crüe was an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California on January 17, 1981. The group was founded by bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, lead vocalist Vince Neil and lead guitarist Mick Mars. Mötley Crüe has sold more than 100 million records worldwide including 25 million in the US. The members of the band have often been noted for their hedonistic lifestyles and the persona they maintained. Their final show took place on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2015, and was filmed for a theatrical and Blu-ray release in 2016.
