To reach this INDIGO CACHE, you will walk past the old Logie Schoolhouse which is owned by the National Trust for Scotland but is up for sale. It dates from the early 19th Century and is one of the last surviving examples of a mud wall building in Scotland. It has been used as a church and a school in the past.
The cache is placed a short distance along the road from this building.
The tub is small in size and suitable for small swaps.
You will need to be careful getting to this one and watch your footing, especially in the wet.
You can park in 3 separate places to reach all 6 caches or you can start at the RED one (https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC6DT9K_rainbow-roads-to-the-river-red-on-the-hill) and walk the length of the river.
Walking it may not always be possible in Summer due to areas being overgrown / marshy and path fades away in parts. Some paths are quite close to the water so please be careful if taking children. There would also be a metal gate to climb over.
Please make sure the cache is well hidden and closed once you have found it.
