Easily accessible and highly visible from the street The cache is a large wooden box. Someone stole our large purple polka-dotted guest book 😟 so we've lost all the nice messages from visitors. We've started a new blue composition notebook as the cache log, please leave a message or where you're from.
Welcome to the Monroe Dr Little Free Library! Little Free Libaries are a movement to promote reading and sharing of books. There are literally thousands of Little Free Libraries all over the world, hosted by people who place one and act as "librarian", keeping it in good shape and stocked with books. We opened our Little Free Library, conveniently located to passers-by in our front yard in the summer of 2015. A few Little Free Libraries even have their own geocaches associated with them, so we decided to hide one too. The Monroe Dr Little Free Library even has its own facebook page. Not too far away is a whole slew of other caches at picturesque Glen Park and we've started a Village Parks and Recreation series to introduce you to the hidden neighborhood parks and attractions in our community. Historic Williamsville, NY is home to alot of lovely neighborhoods, parks, shops and restaurants. So stop by and find the cache and if you see a book you like, feel free to take it. If you have a book to share, you can leave it in the library for others to enjoy.
