An unknown civilization, the "Kookapakhijo", have existed on the prairies of North America but very little is known about them. They are suspected to be a very intelligent and highly motivated race with the use of their sophisicated advanced technology and, also the use of their mind-power. (Using "ESP" was a piece of cake for them.) Mortals who have encountered the Kookapakhijoes have been known to disappear from this planet known as Earth
Rumor has it that some "Kookapakhijoes" still live among us and use all their powers in erasing all information to keep any mortal from learning more about them and their civilzation.
