The cemetery is located on Mud River road and contain a few Civil War graves. One being my GG Grandfather Ennis Bogue Bias, Quarter Master Sargent; 3rd WV Cavalry. The headstone is government issued, around 1911.
Also, per Hamlin Library - Anderson Bias held a township office as overseer of the poor. Lincoln County came into existence in 1867 and Hamlin was made the county seat. So, the first officers took reign on Jun 4 1867. Anderson Bias' grave is located here.
The cache contains a lump of coal to represent my dad (James Bias), as being a coal miner. Also, the cache contains a pin representing my Grandma (Hazel Bias).
Please respect the area and / or anyone visiting and you may only visit from dawn to dusk, no night caching.
