Three detached rocks, visible at low water, and Situated, about 1/4 mile South of the mouth of Gourdon Harbour.
A visitor to the area recorded the beach as “a superficially dull looking rocky shore but was full of interest. The variety of pebbles on the beach was astonishing and the rocky pools were alive with wading sea birds. The rocks are old sandstone conglomerate. Couts rocks are marked on the ordnance survey map but when we visited at high tide we could not see the rocks mentioned, the beach was indeed as described above.
