How do I know his name is Clyde you ask. Well walking my dog in the park one day, I stumble onto Old Mushroom Head. I asked, "Hey Mr. Mushroom, what are you doing here?"
He answers irritably, "My name is not Mushroom you twit, my name is Clyde. So stop calling me Mushroom, it’s stupid."
I just stood there, shocked at the negative attitude coming off of this thing. "Hey, what’s with the attitude, I was just trying to be friendly?"
Clyde answers “How would you feel? A tornado comes right through here, I mean right through here, and no one comes to check on me. I am here hanging on for dear life and no one gives a rip. So yea, I am feeling a bit snarly at the moment, how would you feel, no one ever even visits me."
I stand there thinking for a moment and have an ah-ha moment. I mean the light bulb on top of my head kind of moment.
Mr. Clyde, I say, "How about I make you into a cache and get you lots of visitors, how would you like that?"
He smiled a bit and said ok, but they had better be nice to me.
So folks, go see Clyde and say HI, he is lonely and feeling sorry for himself because of the tornado. Make sure to tell him ole MrRocketman sent you and by all means be nice to the poor fellow, he has had a rough enough time as it is. Lets see is we can't put the old boy in a better mood.
