Geocache Description:

QUESTION:  Did you know that on May 7, 1824, Beethoven's 9th Symphony Premired in Vienna?

ANSWER:  Neither did I until I looked it up.

QUESTiON:  Did you know that on May 7, 2016, Geocachers from all over the World will gather in Mint Hill, North Carolina at Penny's Place?

ANSWER:  Yes, but it may not be geocachers from all over the world, but THAT would be amazing.


Please come to my little town with some amazing caches.  We will start with a hearty breakfast at a local resturant which has been in Mint Hill since 1936.  This was orginally a pool hall where gentleman would gather for food and drinks.  It is now a great breakfast and lunch place with great prices.

WHAT:  Meet and Greet Breakfast for Geocaching (we will discuss some great geocaches in the area while listening to a short excerpt of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony)

WHERE:  Penny's Place, 7917 Fairview Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227

WHEN:  May 7, 2016 at 7:00-8:00 AM or come by an information booth any time between 9am-3 PM near "Discover Mint Hill Historical Society - http://coord.info/GC5R90G"

WHY:  To eat and trade stories before a long day of Geocaching in Mint Hill, North Carolina.
