Geocache Description:

Cleaning up the banks of the Charles River

for the 4th year in a row

(CITO 2013, CITO 2014, CITO 2015)

14th Annual CITO Weekend on Earth Day 2016

This year's cleanup location:

The Esplanade


Dartmouth Street Comfort Station
(Dartmouth St. & Back St., Boston MA 02116)

Saturday, April 30, 2016, 9:00 AM SHARP ~ 12:00 PM noon

Rain or Shine!


Time schedule: (Please arrive a bit earlier if you can.)
8:30am-8:45am : Sign-in (CITO log sheet & a waiver form), and pick up FREE T-shirt
8:45am-9:00am : Welcome and Volunteer Instructions
9:00am- : Service! Pick up trash along the Charles and around the park.
~11:30am : Return back to the starting point, the Dartmouth Street Comfort Station
11:45am : Group photo
12:00pm : Thank you & see you next year!

After-CITO Options: 12:00pm–2:00pm : Geocaching Event "Lunch in the Square" http://coord.info/GC6DRQV @ FiRE+iCE of Harvard Square
or
12:15pm–2:00pm : Free Picnic for all volunteers at the Hatch Shell (See Additional Waypoints)

Trash Bags will be provided at the starting coords,
yet please bring your own water & snacks.
Also, you WILL get dirty, so dress appropriately, and wear good footwear.
Your garden gloves will come in handy as well.
