Geocache Description:

If the trees could talk
What would they say?
The Coast Salish paddle these waters
And have since back in the day
Then from forest to seashore
The homesteads spanned
With pigs, fruit and cows
Pioneers farmed the land
Now a Regional Park
It's here to protect
A safe haven for wildlife

Deserving our respect

No need to venture off trail to find this cache. It is very near the path.

Witty’s Lagoon is one of five parks that has been part of the Capital Regional District parks system since it was established in 1966. Take a look back in time!
