Places a new cache today while out doing maintenance on some of our caches. When I was in high school this was the party spot, had tons of Bon fires, while setting around spending time with friends. This is near a some of our other caches in the river bottoms. Is in a remote place so there isn't much traffic except farmers and country cruisers. This is a small cach container with a few small things in it, will add more when I take my granddaughter out and show it to her. We used to cache a lot when our kids were younger but they got bored of it but our granddaughter loves it so I'm in hopes we can get going again. Enjoy driving our country roads.
This is a new type of cache hide for us called a gadget cache. It is easier to find but harder to access. Some research on these will make it worth your time before attempting. There are a few caches around the Erie area by different cachers so you can enjoy the area. We have been geocachers for years, when the kids were younger we cached a lot then kind of quit for a while but now that the grandkids are interested in it we are back at it whenever we get a chance. My 10 y/o granddaughter and I were watching YouTube videos about different cache containers and she said “papa we need to build some of those gadget caches” for people they look fun so this is 1 of 2 we’ve built so far. If you access it there is a small / medium sized container for trade items. Placed log book and several trade items. We hope you enjoy it.
