Cache is placed in some object that we found in the desert..
The Dale Mining District started in about 1884. There were adobe structures but mostly the miners were sleeping in tents. in 1899 the Dale City grew when water began to be pumped in the area. The city had a store, post office and Blacksmith station. The city of Dale was moved 6 miles south and called the New Dale by 2 of the largest producing mines, the supply and the OK. In 1917 the New Dale was abandoned but small scale mining continued thru the depression until all the mines were closed by executive order at the outbreak of the WWII
