Geocache Description:

Picking up and idea started by The Morris, this cache celebrates the 37th Parallel of Latittude, as it crosses the Sunraysia Highway.

Please close this cache correctly.

The Sunraysia is the main route between the Riverian region and Ballarat. The Riveriena, including Mildura is responsible for producing a great variety of fruit and attracts a great amount of tourism annually.

Cache:

- The cache contains a log-book, please make sure you bring a pen

- This cache is a clip-lock container. Please don't use it for swaps, due to repeated muggling.

- After parking a short trek is required, about 50m over flat terrain, which is littered fallen branches.

- This cache is a novelty, and pays homage to the near-by river.

Parking:

Parking close to GZ is available, but due to the Highway and the proximity to a narrow bridge. I recommend parking at the council dump-site, if you can. Please see the photo. Turn at Tanwood Rd, for easy access for parking. This will get you to about 50m from GZ

Muggles:

This is a highway, but watch out for the following.

- Police an other emergency vehicles

- Interstate trucks

- Smaller delivery vehicles

- Farm vehicles

- Cars towing caravans

- Council workers in heavy machinary

Other Hazards:

- The highway is well maintained, but take care in wet weather

- Watch out for snakes in warmer weather, use a walking stick to tap the ground

- Watch out for kangaroos, drive appropriately.
