No gate - post Traditional Cache

A random gate post on the Ouse Valley Way footpath with a suitable hiding place for a cache. There will often be boating muggles around as there are moorings close by. The now archived Nooks & Crannies GC44NN4 was only a few meters away and was one of my first finds.

There is plenty of wildlife to be spotted in and around the Paxton Pits Nature Reserve. I could hear a woodpecker while placing the container. Parking, refreshments and information about the reserve are available at the visitor centre. This cache is placed with the kind permission of the reserve ranger.

You may need to use a pokey thing to aid retrieval, there are plenty around.

CAUTION SHOULD BE TAKEN WITH CHILDREN AS THE CACHE IS VERY CLOSE TO THE RIVER
