Stage 1 puts you in a parking lot of a business. Go to that location and answer the questions to get access to the northern cords. Stage 2 puts you in front of a sign at a park. Go to that location and answer the questions to get access to the western cords. Minor Math and you'll have two sets of 5 digit numbers to fill in the following. N44 XX.XXX --&-- W063 XX.XXX
Stage 1. North. There are 8 words on top of this building. The 2 to the furthest left, designate an area within the business. The next 5 words are a "slogan" to the business and lastly, the 8th Word, to the top right is the business name. 1. Take the # of letters in the 1st word, and (X) it by the number of letters in the 2nd word. Answer ____ 2. Count the total number of letters in the next 5 words (the slogan). Multiply this to your first answer for a new total. New Total________ 3. The 8th word on the building (business name and last word to the right) has how many letters? Multiply the number of letters to the "New Total from #2 giving you yet again, another New Total __________ 4. Now.... Count the number of letters in ALL 8 words and multiply this by the Newest total from #3. - _________ Lastly, Using your Answer from #4, Subtract 33890. You should now have a 5 digit # that you can plug into the northern for the northern finals. Stage 2. West. In front of you, (with St. Margarets Bay Arena in the background) should be an HRM sign for a nearby park. 1. Count the biggest Blue LETTERS on the top of the sign in the Blue Rectangle, which names the area you are standing. Take those # of letters and multiply it by the # of LETTERS of the street name, (2 words) within the same Blue rectangle. Answer_______ 2. Take your answer from #1 and multiply it by the civic number given to this location, also shown on the sign in the top rectangle. New Answer________ 3. The bottom left of the bottom rectangle on the sign has the park hours... Add the opening time and closing time together - Answer________ 4. Multiply your answers from #2 --and-- #3 together giving you a 5 digit number. Lastly, take your answer from #4 and subtract 6915, giving you a 5 digit number to use as the westerly cords.
