Come join us at our Geocaching 101 table at the Going Green Expo. Stop by anytime from 1:00-4:00 to sign our logbook, chat with fellow Geocachers, and help introduce newbies (convert some Muggles) to the fabulous sport of Geocaching.
We will have basic information available on what Geocaching is, how to use a handheld GPSr to go caching, cell phone apps to help one go Geocaching, some great places to start your Geocaching hunt in the greater Springfield area, and some examples of what Geocaches might look like. Also covered will be information on basic hiking safety precautions.
We are hoping to see many experienced Geocachers stop by for a visit, share some of your stories, sign the logbook, and participate in our raffle. There just may be some new caches popping up in the area as well.
