There is always a friendly face with lots of information about the reserve and various resources within the centre. The bird watching area is great with viewing points inside and outside the building. The wood piles house a variety of bugs and small beasts.
There is ample free parking. Refreshments are available when the centre is open and water is always out for dogs.
There are other caches in and around the reserve, the furthest is a walk of about 40 minutes but the scenery and wildlife along the way make for a very pleasant walk.
Due to muggling I have had to change the container which is now under a stone at the posted coords.
This area is child friendly but there is a pond so please keep a eye on them
